I think the funniest sign we ever saw was when we stopped at a roadside restaurant on the way back from Ocoa to Santo Domingo. They have this big menu sign and very prominently offer Chicharones Dietetico - talk about an oxy-moron! My brother-in-law HAD to buy them to see what they did differently, and we laughed all the way back to the capital. Of course they were the same greasy chicharones sold everywhere else.

Kapicua, (pronounced kapiKU'a) in a foto of the OP (above), btw, is when you can 'dominoe' on either end; ex; you're holding the 6/5, it's your play and there is a 6 and 5 at either end, your choice. You are 'out' either way, and it pays well. The expression is used as slang also.
Anyone know the origin of that word, Kapicua? I honestly don't know.
