Smile Dominican Passport. . .

My fiance, who lives in a small town {Bahoruco} in Barahona, Dominican Republic, needs to apply for his Dominican passport. He told me that he could get the forms from his bank, but he didn't give me that much information. So, I was hoping that someone could tell me the application process: what it's like, what he has to do, what forms to fill out, how much it'll cost {in RD$=USD}, etc. Any info will be greatly appreciated. . .Thanks in advance.

He need:
1- A certificated birth registration .
2- 2 Photos ( he can get it at the pass. ofic. )
3- 2 copy of his cedula and of the birth registration.
4- Receipts of payment at the Reservas bank.
The cost depend if he apply for the regular ( same document ) or for the VIP.
Regular passport will be ready in one week RD.$ 1,200.
VIP. will be ready same day RD. $2,200.

Sorry I forgot, they request one more copy of the payment receipt.
That is stupid, after you make a tree hours line, you have to go out side again to get a copy.
