Nothing like living it up on tax payers money. Plus I'm sure they paid no taxes on bringing these in. Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if that's what this is about.
They bring in a car tax free and pass it on to the "real" owner for a kick back.

Now I have seen all the video, that's exactly what this is about

What's worse is that many Dominicans aspire to be corrupt like this.
Many cannot tell the difference, the lines are so blurred here.

Default too much...

I agree with Robert, they get exonerations because of their elected office, and they abuse that to import cars for other people, making a nice little profit. I bet they use all of the exonerations they can get every year, selling them to the highest bidder.

Can you imagine seeing that car roll through the streets of Elias Pina, one of the poorest provinces in the country? It's probably worth more than all of the houses and their contents in several of the poorest barrios in town.

Diputado Radhames Fermin, recently made famous for not attending a single session in the past 2 years and 6 months and continuing to get his salary, was featured on Nuria the 22. The video shows that he has an Aston Martin in his driveway at his mansion. Maybe it's his, maybe he came from money, but it's still shows how ridiculous things can be...not go to work for over 2 years, still get paid and still have so much.

I think you will find that they can look at the tax records straight from the DGII and customs.

Plus this is nothing new, it's been going on for years.

Hey I'm not saying they all bought them with taxpayer money. For instance that guy Fermin is actually a very successful businessman so maybe he could afford to have an Aston martin (He was completely clueless about everything else and doesn't even know how to speak, but if that's who Santiago wants representing them then more power to them).

I was just saying they love to flaunt their money and guess what as Robert said earlier this is not looked as obscene in whatever town they are from, but as someone who "made it", who's cool and a tiguere(a).
