Default Corruption banned!

I thought I was reading the online satirical "The Onion" when I saw the DR1 headline Assembly Bans Corruption. A ban. It was simply that easy. Hadn't anyone thought of that before? Thank God things will finally begin to change in the DR. And faster too. Now you will have 190 legislators rather than 178 to make things right in the DR and another 7 overseas (the really, really plum jobs) to do the people's work for expatriates. Farmer.

The problem is the definition of "corruption". After all, when a politico diverts some funds to his pocket, he "had it coming" as it is considered a birthrite. Also, awarding projects to business associates and kickbacks are just part of doing business.

Insanity reigns. It's a real life Planet of the Apes....Common sense? Well that was never the strong suit of the DR, now was it?

Thank God, corruption is now a thing of the past in the DR, had they not passed this ban, the Country might have been in difficulty in a couple of Years....

Now they should consider banning; drugs, firearms, prostitution, littering and we would really be living in paradise....

The next amendment, apparently, involves declaring apagones unconstitutional.

That should do the trick.
