I married in the D.R. and divorced in Europe. All the papers are OK and verified and certified by the Dominican Embassy and I'm legally divorced in my country (Holland).
What do I have to do in the D.R.?
Somebody told me just to put an add in the papers telling that i'm divorced.
Is this true or what?

The divorce sentence must be recognized by the competent DR court of first instance that means by the court located in the same district where your marriage has been registered in the civil registry office.
You will need a Dominican lawyer to have this done.

Why don´t you contact directly Fabio Guzman ? He has a very good reputation and your interests certainly will be well represented by him who is a trustworthy lawyer.
