Arrow Driving endorsements?

Hello all,

I need some information but please forgive me if i say something wrong,im still in the early stages of thinking of immigration/gaining residency and im not completely up to speed yet.

I have ben reading about the requirements for gaining residency to the D.R. and i see that a letter of good behaviour and a criminal record check is required.

There isnt a problem with the good behaviour but i have a driving endorsement on my driving licence, will this reflect on any decision regarding me gaining residency, other than the 6 penalty points i have nothing else to worry about.

Thank you for reading, all replies are very much appreciated.

Savay.

Lightbulb 99.99% Positive that Driving is not an issue

Since it would not be a Criminal record issue unless you were drunk driving or left the scene ( or similar infractons) and therefore had licence points and a criminal record as well.

What I had to do was get a good behavior letter from the police where I had lived previously. I doubt very much they would mention in their letter a relatively minor driving infraction.

The authorities here are not going to investigate your history. They will rely on the letter you give them from the police authorities that would have known you if you were considered a trouble maker.

Hi Ken,
Thanks for your reply. Are you originally from the U.K?

Our KEN? From the UK???? No ever loving way sunshine............ However, don't ever tell him I said this, but he IS an decent type guy so COULD Qualify as a Brit!!

Have you started your Residency application yet? If not, I wouldn't bother until you are across here. Wait at least the 90 days of your tourist visa to ensure this IS where you want to stay, then apply for Residencia!! Make sure you get a decent & well established lawyer who can get what He/She promises!!! Graciela Firmin has helped many from this board!!! - Grahame.
