Default Citizenship

hi everyone

I like to know if it is possible to obtain DR citizenship through DR embassy.
here Is why.
i have received Dominican Citizenship and presently I work in europe.
I would like to apply for citizenship for my wife and 3 y old son without going to DR with my wife and kid.My wife is very sick.

Will this be possible?
I apreciate all answers and sugestions.

I suggest you either wait for the advice of DR1's legal expert, (not Jazzcom) or call tomorrow morning to the embassy. If you already are a Dominican citizen then your child automatically becomes Dominican, your wife is a different thing. As I said, you either wait for Mr. Guzman's advice or call the embassy.

No. Your wife would at least have to come to the Dominican Republic to file her petition personally (Art. 3 of Law 1683 of 1948).
