I would question the ability of your "models" to understand and/or read a model release in either English or Spanish and in addition understand the implications of your posting them on the internet.

Also keep in mind you better be damned sure of their age and ID as a lot or 18 yr. olds are about 14 or 15 and with the going rate for a cedula at RD$350 they may not have real ID.

I was approached by an average mature looking girl and her girlfriend for sex, and while they wouldn't take no for an answer I finally told her they needed cedulas, which of course they said they'd go get, which got rid of them both so I thought. They didn't of course.

Upon the next encounter on the street I asked her the birth year (hard to blurt it out quickly if fake), as it turns out she was 16 & her friend was 14. No doubt they'd pose and sign and then you'd be posting for Mr. Guzman's help from the pokey, if he'd offer it which I doubt.

The risk: Go to jail, go directly to jail do not pass "go" if you are wrong. Also well-armed parents/novios/ friends may be interested in you as well once this gets out.

Keep it private if at all.

I've heard of several situations where underage girls will do this intentionally with coaching from mom/uncle whatever with the intent of extorting big money from Gringos. So when in doubt, forget it.

It is really a simple question that no one is answering. All these comments about girls age and stuff are the same in any country. You simply make sure you get a waiver (and duh, yes in Spanish) and proper ID.

So would it be legal or not to make an adult content website with Dominican girls on it? I am talking like Playboy types of pictures, not hadcore.

DrPepe - again, the legality of what you are asking is closely related to where you have your website(s) registered. Different countries have different rules. It is legal to photograph girls, is it legal to place the photos on a website? Well, it depends where the site is located. Like I said before.....

The legal jurisdiction of the site will determine if an x or xx or triple x site is legal or not.

The girls in the DR simply put (and it seems you need it simply put) are always using fake ID, they are frequently not of legal age and (duh) they are semi-literate at best thus your model release is as good as the paper it is printed on that's it (duh). You will have what amounts to no consent at all and possibly from a minor.

If you want to rely on that with the inherent risks of legal and other problems good luck to you.

And the information that the location of the site has more to do with how legal it is, presuming you are not hosting it in the DR, go to the message board for the US or wherever you plan to do it and /or ask a lawyer.

I would not do what you plan in a million years.

Now, I know some of you cannot read, and are going to say "but they might be underage!!" But before you do that, read the question again more slooooooowly. I am asking this on the condition of them being 18 years of age or older.

And the legalities of where the site is hosted is not what I am asking. I am asking if the creation of such material would be a problem if it was created in the DR?

Now, before I hear another useless comment about fake ID, let me add this second new question. Would a standard model contract (in Spanish, duh) be a sufficent consent form provided the girl had at least 2 pieces of ID (this is usually enough in most countries) stating her age, and the ID was photocopied (also normal proceedure) to demonstrate what was presented?

Now, to clarify a little more, in case some "hero guy" wants to jump in and say "they better be adults or GO TO HELL!" I am in fact talking about girls 18. Why else ask legal advise at all if I was planning doing something illegal???? Duh!! But I know some of you guys cannot turn down the chance to try and impress all the female readers with the "I am a Hero!" American mentallity and say things like "go to hell if they are underage!!"

Kind Doctor, you need to go and see an Attorney in the country where you want to place your website. You don't seem to read too well. There is no law against taking photos of naked women. The publishing of these photos is where the problem may be.

FABIO GUZMAN said he knows no law against photographing consenting ADULTS..I see that was your original question. Ask Mr. Guzman he is an attorney..all others give you what they know to be true..take it or leave it...you asked and people answered..But ask Mr. Guzman he knows the laws. Pam

You really know how to pitch a deal asking for help. You won't find one girl in the country with 2 pieces of ID real or fake. One piece is trouble enough. Nuff said, good luck and I think you rsite won't be a problem no matter where you host it. Since it will have no pictures at all of girls with 2 good ID's. Who can read a model release or anything else as complex with the inherent risk to them of exposure, for that matter.
