Question cigars

Hey!
I will travel to Santo Domingo first time in my life. Every friend of mine asked me to bring handmade cigars home.
1.Where should I buy them? In a public market? In gift-stores? On the airport tax-free?
2.How many cigars can I take home legally?
Many thanks.

You can take legally 50 cigars back home. These cigars can`t be Cuban or with Cuban seeds (I`m assuming you live in the USA). Please notice that if you buy them in a market, don`t expect them to be original. If you want original cigars go to Santo Domingo Cigar Club in e Hotel Jaragua, or you can go to the Hotel Lina.
