I have not heard of any changes in the regulations. As a guarantor, you will be responsible with your assets in case that the person you guarantee misbehaves.

Question TO what extent is the guarantor responsible??

I understand the guarantor has certian responsibilities to make good a persons debts should he or she be deported- but is the obligation just for the airplane ticket out of the country or for all business and personal debts and fines or just for telephone and/or rent etc. and to what extent? $10,000, unlimited or what ?- where might i get more information if this answer will take too much of your time to answer? thank you .
