Cool Current Situation Re. Visa's

Hi,
This is a hypothetical , I know be wary re. the beautiful chica's wanting to love me forever and be my wifey. I am not doing this
now , just a hypothetical...

With the current situation, increased security/Homeland Security Department, what is the best way/expediant route to bring your lovely chica to the good old USA?

Fiance' Visa?

Get married in DR first , then apply back in states as married?

Visitor Visa?

Thanks very much.....Mr.X from Philly/NJ area

If she doesn't have a US Visa allready than you can forget about applying in the US after you get married.

If she does have a US Visa it is highly doubtful she will be interested in you anyway!

Mr. X,
Though I highly don't recommend bringing a woman over I will tell you what you seek. Visitor visas are almost impossible. Connections and money may work in getting a visa to the US but very unlikely unless coming from a connected family. K1 visas are the fastest and best way to bring someone to the US. Don't get married there, it will be more time consuming and a higher chance it will be denied.

For K1 visas: Nebraska is one of the slowest centers in the US so if you are in a state that uses Nebraska: expect 5-7 months after the 1st paperwork is filed to have a ruling. Other centers like in Texas are only taking about 4-5 months for a ruling on average on the first part of the K1/fiancee visa.

If a girl has a US visa all ready, she is probably from a family with connections/money and will probably want to stay in the DR, probably not a prostitute and not looking to escape for a better life. Hypothetically, I wouldn't send money to support anyone, check up on the person thoroughly by outside sources, and then make a determination if the person deserves a K1 visa and the professions of love are based on fact.

...and Vermont is the fastes center. Mine got approved after 15 days since it was entered into their system. This is a K1 fiancee visa. I'm starting a website with information about the K1 visa in spanish. There are plenty of sites with such info in english.

Also, be prepared if you do. The consulate in Santo Domingo can give you headaches.

Question Just Curious...

Has anyone ever brought someone over on a fiancee visa with no intention of marrying, and then sent them back to DR when their 3 months were up?

Default Not likely !!

"...and then sent them back to DR"?

She'd just go underground in NY.

On second thought, she'd probably already be underground.
