Smuggling Weapons?

I'm doing a project on smuggling weapons into different countries, and the DR is one of them. I've read so many different things about weapon smuggling. If anyone knows what the REAL penalties are for smuggling weapons (like how many years in prison or fines or anything) into the DR and the criminal law / penal code for smuggling, that would be awesome.

Articles 59 to 78 Infractions and Sanctions.

Article 59 punishes smuggling of weapons

Penalties and sanctions may include up to 2 years of jail time, prison time up to 10 years (pena de reclusión) and fines upto 20,000 pesos also confiscation of weapons.
