A cedula is for an individual.

You need to get an "RNC" for a company - this is equivalent to a Tax I.D. # in the US. This is issued through the DGII, and they have a website (in Spanish). Also, you will need to use an atorney to do this the easy way, and they will do everyhting you need to operate legally in the DR.

Suerte.

Thumbs up INcorporation

Legally you can work with your US corporation locally. but you will find it faster and better to incorporate locally.
The process for a RD$100,000 capital is easy, takes about 15-20 days to deliver, including by-laws, registration, taxes, tax payer- number (RNC).
you dont have to have a cedula.
but you must provide at least 7 shareholders (your corporation can hold 994/1000 shares and six other with one RD$100 share each.
prices very according to the law firm.

can help you in the process.
