Question request for more info

I am a foreigner working in a cruise vessel. I met a Dominican woman and I fell in love with her. Of course she loves me too. I talked to her parents that I am planning to marry their daughter in Dominican Republic. Our ships homeport now is in Puerto Rico where there is a Dominican embassy. I will go on vacation this coming April but I am planning to marry this beautiful Dominican lady in La Romana before I'll go back to my home country I want to stay there for a week or two. What kind of visa do I need to apply and how many days it takes before I get the visa. Thank you and more power.

Default You can do all of that

on a tourist visa. No problem.

If you decide to settle here you can apply for Dominican citizenship or residency...

Have a happy life!

to settle there is not a big deal, the problem is, she is pregnant and this is the reason why I have to go there.

How long do you know this woman for? Do you know what she does for a living? What her parents do? Do you speak spanish? She is pregnant? From you? Are you sure? Don't want to sound like a skeptic but forwarned is forarmed.

Not so long but I'm pretty sure that it's mine. Her
both parents have a job and she still studying. I can speak spanish but not fluently and do understand. I know what's in your mind, I've known her even for a short time. I talked to her parents about marrying their daughter and the only thing they ask me, to let their daughter to finish her study even when we get married. I trust her co'z I love her. I loved her, whatever and whoever she is.

OK buddy you know best I just put that out there so that you are very cautious and careful before you get in too deep. Good luck with your relationship, wish you the best.

You only knew this girl for a short while and you got her pregnant?
I am sorry to say it but she is not a decent girl for you then.
