Default Single Parent Rights in DR

What are the legal rights of single mothers (or the rights of the child) in DR when:

1) the father of the child is an american citizen

2) No marriage, but father and mother lived together for a period of 4 months before the child was born

3) the mother is over the age of 21

4) the child is 1 year in age

I know this is a broad question but I want to get an idea of what legal rights total parties involved have.

The child has the right to your support for his or her food, lodging, clothing, health care, recreation, education etc. (Articles 170 and 171 of Law #136-03 - "Codigo del Menor").

You are under no obligation toward the mother.
