Default How to Sell a House in the DR?

I have a house in Villa Mella and owe nothing on it. If I wanted to sell it could I do it without the help of a real estate agent of attorny? It seems like it would be easy, once I get the money I hand the title to the buyer, or is it not so simple?

The cost of an attorney is money well spent, and usually a tiny fraction of the selling price.

It is wise to have a reputable attorney draw up a purchase and sales contract and review the legal aspects of your sale. All legal contracts in the D.R. need to be notarized and most attorneys are notaries.
