Is personal service an accepted form of process service in the Dominican Republic? If so, are there any limits or restrictions, i.e., cannot serve on Sundays?
Process service in the Dominican Republic is done by government officials called “alguaciles.” Alguaciles can serve personally or at the domicile of the person to be served any day from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. except sundays and holidays.
