My girlfreind got turned down for a vacationn visa ( what a suprise)
it say in her passport sh can not apply for a year. Does this just include
the vacation or can she get a student visa to come to school in the us ?

If she has a legitimate school she can apply for a visa.
I bet the INS would take the previous decline into account and suspect this is a new avenue for the same idea. Worth trying if you can afford it I guess.
