I am considering applying for residence and wish to know if my children can be included in my application or if they have to make separate applications.

If what you want to know is if they should come down too, the answer is yes. They will apply separate as well. Only when applying for naturalization, a women married to a Dominican and their children would be able to apply jointly without having to pay a separate fee for every child.
