URGENT SURVEY: What should a R.E. title inspection and corporate review cost?

Hi,
this is an urgent survey:

Please post what a real estate title inspection and a review of a corporation (that holds the property) should cost in the DR? (Cabarete)

Also, what exactly should be reviewed with the corporation...and where? (what government department)?...if all taxes are current?...no former employee claims?...any lawsuits?...etc, etc???...what else should be reviewed???

Please posts a Dollar amount if possible, if you have purchased any property in the DR.

Any other tips are also welcome!

Title inspection and review of the seller's corporation are usually part of the package to purchase the property. The standard attorney fee is 1% of the purchase price. Reductions in this fee are possible if the purchase price is high (more than $500,000). On the other hand, if the purchase price is low (less than $50,000), the attorney may have a minimum fee.

Some firms, including Guzman Ariza, are willing to bill on an hourly basis instead of based on a fixed fee, if the client so desires.
