Does anyone know where I can get information on laws regarding listening devices placed in one's personal telephone?

I have a situation in DR where I believe that a family members phone line is tapped how can I check this? What is Dominican law on listening on personal conversations?

Forget about the law! there are devices in the market that check for wiretapping. And if you are being tapped, why not feed the listeners with false information, to throw them off your scent, and toward your enemies.
