Default Fraud

A `friend of mine` is victim of land fraud, having purchased property from a well known Cabarete realtor through a well know Sosoua lawyer.

As he was trusting (and naif), he didnt get a second lawyer to verify the documentation on the advise of the realtor.

Obviously the lawyer has covered his tracks well, and the realtor is claming ignorance.

The irony is that they have attempted to sell the property again.

Can anyone advise him on his best couse of action? As well, he would like to post the names of the parties involved as a warning to others who might fall prey to them as well.

If he posts the names maybe something can be done. Without all the information you are wasting your time.

Like sky said he needs to post all details himself. Third party accounting always miss something.

Let him post the whole story and then let Robert decide if he can post the names of those involved.

I have no problems with names, but HE will need to post all facts, timeline etc etc. That way they will have the opportunity to respond etc. Sorry, I wil not allow posts of this nature via a 3rd party.

Note: DR1 will not be used as a channel for "pay back" or "personal grudges" so think VERY carefully before naming people etc.

If it's the most broken rule we have, you must be able to come up with 100's of examples. So go right ahead...

Default clearly this requires thought

I will advise my friend to think carefully before proceding.

His experience is a bad one, and reflects badly on the parties involved. He only wishes others to be aware of his experience.

What good is being aware of his experience if he does not share it with us? What happened and by who????

Yes but that's not the case here. You can't come on DR1 give someone's full name or business name and say they committed fraud and swindled money out of you without full details. That's what Robert means.

If you wanted to attack a poster named Blah blah that's another story because poster blah blah can defend him/herself and then we can delete your posts.

I'm sure you've seen that before.
