Legal smoking age in DR

Im going to the Dominican Republic soon, and want to know what the legal age is to buy/smoke cigarettes. Thanks

Most things are not 'legal' in DR...unless you're like....5 yrs. old...

Many colmados have a sticker posted somewhere saying they do not sell to minors (under 18) even if they do.

Most colmado owners know their customers really well so if junior shows up asking to buy cigarettes for aunt Yudelka ro whatever the owner knows her brand and everything and will probably have no problem selling the kid cigarettes.

Alden, when you reach 16 which I suspect is in 3 or 4 years you can buy cigarettes.
