Default What do I need to visit 30 days?

Hi there,

If i'm staying 30 days (in Sosua), do I need anything other than my passport to come from the US?

If I stay more than 30 days?

What is the cut off time for further requirements?

Thanks.
Ro

If the tourist card isn't included you need a tourist card which is good for 14 days. You can get that at the airport upon arrival .

When you leave you might have to pay a small amount plus 20 USD departure tax.

15 Days - 3 Months: $300 Pesos
3 Months - 9 Months: $500 Pesos
9 Months - 1 Year: $2000 Pesos
1 Year - 1.5 Years: $3500 Pesos
1.5 Years - 2 Years: $4500 Pesos
2 Years - 2.5 Years: $6000 Pesos
2.5 Years - 3 Years: $8000 Pesos
3-5 Years: $12000 Pesos
5 Years+: $15000 Pesos

Anna,

Thanks. So if I understand you, the $10 entry fee I'm familiar with, having just returned.

But then I pay a penalty depending on the length of time plus $20 to exit?

Thanks.

If you just returned and didn't have to pay the $20 at a separate booth then it must have been included in your ticket. I've had to pay departure tax separately whereas my tourist card was included in the ticket but it depends what airline you fly with. I'm in Canada eh

Hi Anna,

Do you know if this schedule is still valid?

Thanks,
Gordon

As far as I know, the fees are the same, but, because of the new tourist card system, the applicability of the fee is not uniform.
