Hi. For a woman married to a dominican citizen I know there is a fast way to apply for citizenship. But does the husband need to have economic solvency?

no we both need to work but there was a thread about residence and how you need a dominican guarantor with economic solvency and I was wondering if the same was applying for citizenship, that's all

Who has the right to Dominican citizenship?
In addition to being the offspring of a Dominican citizen, you can acquire Dominican citizenship through marriage. A foreign woman who marries a Dominican has the right to Dominican citizenship. This does not work in reverse. A foreign man who marries a Dominican woman does not have the automatic right to Dominican citizenship.
