Fideicomiso Law (Trust Law)

I am looking for the law regarding fideicomisos? Is there one in DR?

There are no Trusts or Fideicomisos Laws in the Dominican republic since they are not recognized as legal entities here. You wouldn't be able to open bank accounts or buy property through them directly.

I had read that post, but didn't know if its answer addressed specifically "common law trusts" for which the common law doesn't exist in DR, or also included fideicomisos codified into your law.

Panama, Mexico, Argentina and Costa Rica have all codified fideicomisos into their civil law. (probably others as well, but these are the ones I know of).

The next question is: "Would DR law recognize a Panama Fideicomiso?" and "Could I use a Panama fideicomiso to establish a DR bank account?" "Which would be recognized for immigration purposes?" (I gues that's more than one question!).
