Exclamation Eviction landlord/tentant issue

If one was to purchase a property that has "squatters"(unauthorized occupants) how difficult would it be to have them removed. What would be the best steps to take to ensure a smooth change of ownership?

The onis should be on the seller, and no money should be handed over until the property is vacant.
If I wanted to get some squatters out, without incident, I would make them an offer.
Removing sqatters through legal means could be costly and time consuming, maybe even years.

This problem certainly is serious for the legal owner as the law is heavily biased against the landlord. For this reason and none other, the vast majority of landlords refuse to rent to Dominicans.
Our personal experience devastated us over a period of two years, culminating finally in desperation by trading the concrete -block, two bedroom house (in a barrio) for an excellent Toyota Corolla car, owned by a Dominican. We got the car, he got the house, then at gunpoint (by him,) he "evicted" the squatters, sold the house to another Dominican and with the proceeds, bought a big fruit truck. What a story that was!! Too difficult and stressful to do. You could have them thrown out of the land either legally (long process) or outside the courts, but would end up living with the worry of having your land occupied again by them, and trust me they always do come back when they see the opportunity. Not a good thing to do if you’re only going to be on this property for only a couple of months a year, not mentioning the expenses related to having them thrown out of the place.
