Condo associations

I am purchasing a property that will be divided into condos and some units will be owned by separate
owners and I will keep the remaining units as income
units. Are there any unusual laws in the DR governing condo associations or does any one have any idea where I
can get info on the subject?

If you are going to organize as a condominium, you will also need a set of rules for the condominium that will have to be filed as part of the application process. You will see them mentioned in the Condo Law 5038 that HOWAR linked you to.

Fabio Guzman, the lawyer who normally answers questions in this section has had a lot of experience with condos and helping condos develop rules. I recommend that you consider him as your legal representative. The condol law that HOWAR linked you to is on the website of his law firm.
