Salary question

Hi,

Can somebody please confirm that employees do not pay taxes on salaries below 23 000 a month? If not what was it for 2004 and is for this year.

Also, is it possible to get a printout from the "IRS" in DR saying that I am not their register.

To be exact, anyone in the DR with a monthly income of RD$23,035.16667 or less (RD$276,422.00 anually) is exempted from paying income taxes.
