Importing Wine for Personal Consumption??

Hello all - I will be arriving in the DR in a few days to attend my nephew's wedding. I want to bring 2 bottles of a nice wine for the occassion. Will I be allowed to do this? Thanx -

You can bring in whatever wine you can carry with no problem.

Welcome to DR1. Hang in there you will get more responses from our helpful members.

When the wedding is over and you get back home how about giving us a report in the "Trip Report" forum and tell us how everything went. Tell us where the wedding was, how the service and food was and how everyone did or did not enjoy our fabulous island and everything else relevent.

Don't forget to wish the bride and groom our best for a successful and prosperous marriage.

The wedding / stay will be at the Sunscape Casa Del Mar near La Romana. The pictures look great.... This will be my first vacation in years. Other than the wedding, I am planning to lay on the beach, drink rum, and do absolutely nothing! :-)
