Default 5 ways to become citizen of the DR

hello board..
i noticed a discrepancy in facts amongst board members. specifically questions regarding citizenships.

so i gathered some info directly from the site on this page http://dr1.com/legal/migration/citizenship.shtml the site mentions 5 options to acquire citizenship and ive outlined each.

how can I apply for Dominican citizenship?

1)Having resided in the country for at least six months after having obtained legal domicile (permanent residence card) this is the standard way of doing it.. follow this link for more info: http://dr1.com/legal/migration/residences.shtml

2) Having resided continually in the country for at least two years. this option i dont believe was mentioned in detail. does this mean that a foreigner is qualified simply by being in the country for 2 years without any residence status??? if im not mistaken, visitors get a 90 day permission to stay in the country legally... so it doesnt make much sense that overstaying that duration for 2 years would allow one to legally apply for citizenship. please explain.

3) Having resided continually in the country for at least six months and having formed a business or purchased real estate. so if one has sufficient funds and a good attorney, he'll be qualified for citizenship after 6 months of continual residence? seems like a great option for those who dont want to wait the 18-24 months.. of course only applicable to those who have funds. but is it that simple? does that mean that the investor wont have to go through the lengthy process of obtaining a residence visa, then a temp residence?

4) Having served in the Dominican Armed Forces. this one i dont understand.... i wasnt able to find any information regarding this option..if somebody can share more info that would be appreciated!

5) Have obtained a special concession from the President which may be granted for having served the DR with merit. interesting... but no info on this rare option either.
