2 quick questions about buying real estate
how much am i looking to pay to hire a lawyer in d.r. to take care of my purchase of land.i'm buying 200 meters of raw land in boca chica.just would like to see a ball park figure so when i make calls i might know i may be getting ripped off if the price is too high.
2nd. transfer of money?to whom does it go to?lawyer first,or lawyer to seller, or straight to seller?and is their any problems transfering from us bank to dominican?and how much do i get for my dollar.i heard the banks give bad rates when money is exchanged.do i get whatever the daily exchange is or is it like the cambio they take a percent out.
i'm unexperienced hoping the experienced can help me out.
