Default Birth certificates

I am an American citizen living in the US , with childeren in DR. Without thinking I sent in my passport to be renewed. When I went to get their official birth certificates ,my new passport only had the entry stamps showings the dates for my younger daughter. therefore I was only able to get hers completed. what must I do to get the birth certificate for the older daughter. Any input will be greatly appreciated .

Thanks

I don't understand. Where was your other daughter born? Where are you trying to obtain her birth certificate, in the US or the DR?

Default birth certificate

They were both born and live in DR. If I am not mistaken, I need the official birth certificate on file in Santo domingo before I go US Consulate to file for a
Consular Report of Birth Abroad of a US Citizen.

I assume you declared your daughter in the D.R. at the time of her birth. Do you have a copy of the birth certificate that was issued to you then? If you do, just go to the Civil Registry mentioned on the certificate and request a certified copy. If you don’t have a copy of the certificate but you know that your daughter was declared in Santo Domingo, you (or your attorney) would have to do a search in every civil registry office in Santo Domingo until you find it.
