Default Married in DR - Register in US???
I am an American citizen, my husband is a Dominican citizen (was resident of DR when we got married). We were married in Santo Domingo. Now that we live in the US, do we have to register our marriage in the US for it to be legal here?

Didn't you have to prove your marriage when your husband came to the US?
