Cost to leave DR?

I am flying out of POP to head back to Canada in about 1month.
I have been in the country now for 1yr and 8months, does anyone know how much it will cost me at the airport? For being here longer then i should be.?

Here are the penalty amounts for overstaying:

15 Days - 3 Months: $300 Pesos
3 Months - 9 Months: $500 Pesos
9 Months - 1 Year: $2000 Pesos
1 Year - 1.5 Years: $3500 Pesos
1.5 Years - 2 Years: $4500 Pesos
2 Years - 2.5 Years: $6000 Pesos
2.5 Years - 3 Years: $8000 Pesos
3-5 Years: $12000 Pesos
5 Years+: $15000 Pesos

I seriously doubt it. If you dont want delays at that point, maybe you should draw the cash from your credit card before getting into line at the airport.

I owed 4,500 pesos. I put 2000 pesos in my passport before handing it to immigration. She took the pesos and stamped me through. Try 1000, that will be enough I'll bet!!If you think it was unusuall,I did the same thing 3 years ago!
