Default Timeframe for aquiring Deslinde

Sr. Guzman, what is the best case and worse case scenario in terms of how long it takes to complete, for performing the deslinde process on a piece of land in Cabarete?

thank you!

With the new law in place earlier this month, we are all in uncharted waters. A guestimate would be 6 months.

Default it's depend on where you are located?

I am in Santo Domingo in Zona Oriental. it's already been 8 month!
Hopefully I will get it with in 20 days... The process was carried out swiftly with no opposition.

Good Luck!

The deslinde process has been changed completely. It is no longer a purely administrative procedure.

Fabio, do you think the new process will increase or decrease the time it takes to complete the deslinde?

The time should be longer because now deslindes can only be done through a regular process in court. Before, it was an administrative procedure with no hearings, etc.
