Default Obtaining A Death Certificated

I need assistance in obtaining my Great Great Grandmother's Death Certicate for family matters. Her Name was Amy Richardson Colbourne. She died in Santo Domingo during the year of 1918, 1919 or 1920. I really don't know where in Santo Domingo but you help would greatly be appreciated.

The Richardsons (if this person was Dominican) were from Samaná I believe. What you are asking is a job for an investigator. It is quite possible that the death reports are available but it will take some serious digging.
During those years, the US Army was the government, so there is a possibility that records were kept.

Death records are kept at the civil registries ("Oficialías de Estado Civil"). You should have somebody go to these registries in Santo Domingo.
