Default Points on Family Law please. Mr. Guzman.. Help.

Mr. Guzman, maybe you can give some general advise. I am,was married to a Dominican woman who has died suddenly. She has 2 children 13 and 15 which I legally adopted. My wife has a seperate Bank Account and a joint account with me. Both accounts have been frozen pending certain documentation, and I am wondering what part of the monies in these accounts the girls can claim, and also myself. etc. We also have Central Bank accounts.. 1 in her name only and I am assuming that the children are named as beneficieries.Do I have any claims on this certificate being the husband. The second is in our Joint names. Will the children have a claim on this Certificate. We hold no properties at this time and were renting accommadation. I was hoping you could give some general advise before I deal with the banks and of course, her family. Thanking you in advance.

mikeyone, my condolences for your loss. Matilda provided you below with a link to a post on this matter which will answer your questions. My only additional comment is that the fact that the children are minors makes the case a bit more complicated.
