I am a volunteer assisting in setting up a professional group country association and need to know the best place to go to obtain the civil procedure laws associated with the organization of an association that would be recognized by the government. Thank you to anyone that can give me this information! Tahoe
The law in question is Law #122-05, enacted on May 3, 2005. For the text of the law (in Spanish), google "Ley 122-05". You'll need a lawyer to assist you with the administrative (not civil) procedure.
Thank you, Fabio. Perhaps my Dominican co-workers know where we can find a lawyer to assist us with this, either thru ADR or CONADIS? I volunteer at ADR and know several people at CONADIS that I have worked with. Unless you have any further suggestions. At this point we have no finances. Thanks again. Tahoe
