This would be a question for Sr. Guzman:
After I recieve my citizenship in the dominican republic, will my wife qualify for citizenship? This would be bases on the fact that I'm now a naturalized Dominican citizen.
A good question for which I don't have an answer. The law states that citizenship may be granted to a foreign woman who marries a Dominican citizen. In your case, you were not a Dominican citizen when you married. I'll inquire if there is a precedent for your particular situation.
Thank you for your response Sr. Guzman. I,myself, have searched for an answer for some time. I have yet to find any information. Again, thank you for your response. I hope you can solve this riddle.

We talked to an official at the Ministry of Interior, the government department in charge of naturalizations. You wife may acquire citizenship if she has lived in the Dominican Republic for more than 6 months.
