UK/Dominican baby citizenship??

I'm a UK citizen, living in the UK, and my husband is Dominican.

Our first baby is due in 2 weeks time, and I'm a bit about how to make sure he has dual citizenship.

Do we need to register the birth in the DR as well as the UK? If so, how do we go about this? Is there a time limit etc?

Congratulations! For the child to have DR as well as UK nationality, you have to register the birth at the DR Embassy in London within the first six months. Otherwise the procedure is a little more complicated, but not impossible.
