Dual citizenship and residency....

I am interested in dual citizenship and residency in the Dominican Republic. How hard is it to obtain?

residency: depends

if your born by a dominican : very easy route
married to a dominican man (if your female) easy route
married to a dominican female: residency to citizenship

im in process of citizenship via my dominican mother. so far her side is done. now i must finish my side.

Thanks Domenico. My route will probably go by marriage. My fiance is pregnant with my child so will the baby automaticly have dual citizenship?

The only nationality that will be automatic will be the Dominican one, if at least the mother has a Dominican cedula. The father needs to declare the baby using hospital documentation within the first 30 days so that a Dominican birth certificate is issued. Then with that birth certificate you can apply for the other citizenship if applicable depending on the other country.
