She just needs to go and ask for a birth certificate for a Cedula, they will give her a birth certificate for that purpose in a few minutes.

After she gets her birth certificate, she needs to go and apply for a Cedula, if it her first Cedula it will take a few weeks before she received her Cedula, but they will give her a copy of her cedula with her cedula number until she gets her original.

After she gets her Cedula she can go and apply for a passport, she can get a passport the same day if she pays for VIP.

Very easy, and she should know all that.

How do you prove your identity to get your birht certificate if you don't have a cedula or you don't need to?

If needed, other documents to take can be school, communion, baptismal records etc.

Anybody can go a get a birth certificate for her if she doesn't live in the town she was registered at birth (she can send anybody), she can go and ask for a birth certificate, she just need to tell them she needs it to get her Cedula.

You don't need to know Algebra or be a proferssor of law for that.

She doesn't need anything at all, as i said in a previous post even a friend can go and get it for her, they just need to pay the fee.

I'm glad i'm making sombody life a bit easier , yes it's very easy.

My birth was registered in "La Ciudad" in Santiago, so everytime i needed a birth certificate i need it to go there, a pain in the butt, so i just send a friend to get it for me.

she has a birth certificate allready. the problem is they tell her it is no good because it is not signed by her father.they told her she needs to get a new one and it will cost 2000 pesos, and a lawyer wants 2000 pesos to put her fathers name on it . the father is no longer alive. does 2000 pesos sound like a lot of money .it does to me. thanks for all your answers so far
