Default Spousal/Child Support and Common Law

Does anyone know what the laws are in the DR regarding spousal support and common law marriage? I have heard that if you live with someone there for more than five years, they may be able to get 50-percent of your assets even if you are not married? What are the laws regarding child support? How does the Court decide how much support is award?

    THANKS!!
