Default exotic birds import from america

Hello, and thank you in advance for any information you can provide. I currently reside in Florida, but I am considering moving to the DR. I have an african grey parrot (unbanded) that I would be bringing with me. Things is, he has been with me 24/7 for the past 15 years, (even goes to work with me) so quarantine would be difficult on us both. Do you know what sort of restrictions I would face bringing my bird to the DR? Just as important, would I have a problem bringing him back to the states, or do they give him a visa too? Thanks again for any hlp you can provide.
