Naturalisation
Does anyone know exactly why the Naturalisation process (for foreigners to gain Dominicana nationality) has been halted (for about 2 months now)?
Anything that happens up to and including making the RD$5000 tax payment has been frozen - last time I checked this was with the Central Police (who manage the process) in Santo Domingo, yesterday (23 Sep, 2008).
Also, does anyone have any info on when the process will be re-started again or what has to happen for it to restart?
