are you allowed to bring back an item you bought here, paid itbis on take out of the country by plane and then return with it ? do you have to register it with customs at airport??? can this be done??? i e my friend bought a electric surge protector in states. he does not think it works properly and has warrantee for it.. sign for it when leaving???

Did your "friend" paid the necessary "fees" to the proper authorities? Are there any liens and/or other 'attachments'?
