Too old to get a Will?

In DR, My father has been told (not by a lawyer) that if he reaches the age of 65 the DR law prohibits him from creating or changing his Will? Is this true? Need to know soon as he turns 65 in March. Thanks.

FIrst of all, I am pretty sure that this is B.S.
Second of all, will in the DR are pretty much useless. The widow gets 50% and the kids share the other 50%.
I do remember Lawyer Guzman saying something about how a person can assign a certain % of his assets to one individual, but this is carefully monitored.

My father is not married, him and my mother divorced back in the 90's. He also divorced his 2nd wife two years ago. Four kids from first marriage, one from second one. I guess he just want to specify but that might not be his choice due to DR laws. I mentioned to him to consult a lawyer in DR, hopefully he will do so as everyone in DR has an opinion :-)

This is not true. Anybody can write a will AT ANY AGE if of sound mind.
