Default Deslinde Panic

This is a follow on question on other question.

I signed a land purchase contract in April 2007.

In April 2008 the contact was rejected when I went to file for title as the spouse of the lawyer on title had not signed the contract.

I am now encouraging the spouse of the lawyer to sign an appendix of the orginial contract.

Should I be in a panic to get her to sign before April 1 , 2009 when the new laws come in to effect?

I think you should be! The new Property Registry Law (Law #108-05) does not provide for any exception to the law and appears to be retroactive after the grace period has expired.
