Domestic workers are referred to as "casual workers" and are not typically covered by social security requirements, depending upon how much time they actually work.

Social security health insurance, at least in Cabrera, does in fact work. We have paid private insurance for years for some of our employees but the government insurance is now about as good and, of course, free for us!

Call the police when he doesn't turn in the gun the next morning.
He can reimburse you for the gun (and quit without liquidation) or he can go to jail for stealing a firearm.

...but seriously...I'd rather just pay the liquidation and get on to the next problem in life. Labor disputes in this country are a losing proposition for the employer.
